The Big Bang Theory does not get enough love.[More:]To me, it's managed to touch very closely on what it's like to be a nerd or a geek (with a few twists) while being funny. My only complaints are the laugh track and the fact that the characters haven't table top roleplayed yet.
My complaint is that if that guy is suppose to be one of the top quantum physicists, why isn't he at the LHC like the rest of them?

i just finally wrote that somewhere else because it's been bugging me a bit. i mean i know why but, ya know? Make up a phobia or something.

i like the show but i rarely get to catch it.
Same with The New Adventures of Old Christine.

Sheldon never fails to make me laugh. I also covet his collection of t-shirts.

i did like his doppler effect.
It's very unfair that it's not freely available by CBS online.

Sheldon, in a horrifyingly over the top way, reminds me of my roommate. He is to my roommate what a drag queen would be to an everyday gal on the street, I suppose.

i don't think he's that over the top.
Believe me.

i mean, the actor has done a great job in his role, and i know people not at all dissimilar.
i loved how they really worked Schrödinger's cat in there at the end of last season: "The cat's alive. Let's go."
i wonder who the advisers are.

only over the top compared to my roommate, who isn't quite so "you're in my seat/ hey this is orange chicken not tangerine" as Sheldon.

Until I can justify the expense of an HD TiVo (we're strictly on antenna digital, so VCRs don't work anymore for us), I've got a temporary solution made up of one part DVD-player-with-a-USB-port and one part bittorrent.
