One more reason that I love Wanda Sykes.
I love it.

I like it. Of course, lately I've been of the opinion that 'gay,' may have outlived it's usefulness as a term for homosexuals, mainly because the original meaning of the word and it's connotations. But it's the only one we've got in circulation, I guess.

The girl who told me in second grade that I looked gay was the same one who asked me in 7th if I'd given a pack of soc boys (one of whom I had no idea was!) head.

BP, as an inverse do you think "queer" go back to its original meaning and not refer only to LGBT and intersexed?

brujita, I'm one of those who thinks "queer" will always be an insult, though there are a lot of LGBT folks who disagree with that.

I love me some Wanda, but I also think some things are best described as "so gay." That's not necessarily a bad thing. If you are around the block enough to know what "so gay" is, why not say it?

She's great. She supports my theory that people, especially women, don't rise to public recognition unless they truly do have something going on. No,not you, Sarah.
