My internet was down for four days, what did I miss? I have been imagining a conversation with my brother, who fishes salmon in Alaska, about how my life came to a tragic standstill, and him all, "why do you need that anyway?"

My internet at work was down for a month. It was crazy! I actually had to freaking work.

But seriously. There was so much I couldn't do, I felt like my fingers were all taped together.

What'd you miss? A whole lot of election-related YouTubes and the usual good-natured wankery.

Funny, it's like a cocaine addict trying to explain to a square... If you have to ask, you'll never know.

My life seems to be at least 50% in front of a screen, and I like it that way. Of course a direct jack plug in the base of the neck would be so much easier, but I can make do with this transitional mode for the next little while. I am confident the future will get here soon enough and we'll all be able to merge with less effort.

It will be like the rapture, but all the net junkies will suddenly be gone...
