Sewing tattoos I know this relevant to someone's interests here... kellydammit, I think? Apologies if I'm mistaken. site in Russian

I'm your new best friend. :) Find me a site showing tattoo-flash style embroidery-patterns and we'll be BFF's!

very cool... I was half-expecting to see one of mine on there.
I love the chest piece, I've actually seen it before. (I think on the craft or make blog), but it wasn't as far along then.
I have no flikr access at work to link, but my sewing tattoos are up on mine (I'm in the metachat group). I'm also in a group for them. (machine on right arm, pincushion on left, stitched seams with a button at either end up the back of each leg.)

WEEE! bya, I'm off to sit and embroider in the comfy chair next to the light for a few days. Ring me if you need me. Yeay!

i like that bee.
Maybe i should finally do some of that subversive cross stitch.
Which seems less of a mess/hassle? They seem about even.

I prefer embroidery to cross stitch. I think it has more room for alteration and customization... cross stitch involves a lot of grids and stuff, it seems way more constrained. And embroidery, technically, can be done on anything. I think cross stitch needs the special cloth for the grid size.

I actually have some of those embroidery patterns. I like them.

Scissors make a really great forearm tattoo.

Yeah, there is no way i'd go buy new stuff or bother to follow a pattern. i so fake it when i make it.

Getting yet another, box?

Ok, let's screw off the russian link before we get spambots or stormtroopers or whatnot.

Yeah, I'm in the middle of getting another one now. My next appointment is on Tuesday.

Forearms and tools can often make a serendipitous choice, like with these drumsticks. I've seen some great forearm tattoos on chefs, too--knives and whisks and whatnot.

I sent these to my straitlaced 65-year-old mother. She keeps saying she wants a tattoo, and I think she's serious. Now she'll have to put her money where her quilting squares are.
