poetry questions. Has anyone heard of a poet called joan jobe smith? What do you think of her? How respected is she in the US of A? Any "famous" poems by her I can read on the internets?

I will ask the gf. She has all sorts of degrees in poetry. One of them might, at last, come in useful.

Well, one of her chapbooks was reviewed by the Georgia Review, but none of her books is in much more than a dozen of the major libraries. Her name might be recognizable in the right circles, but she doesn't appear to be "famous".
