Coachella A very cool music video made up of still images. I love animation that looks like this... I never thought of trying to do it from stills.→[More:]This is from last year's Coachella Festival out in California, and is set to a tune by the Arcade Fire.

I find that it doesn't get interesting and fully expoit the "stills" aspect of it until the night time scenes. The early scenes just look like video with every few frames taken out, but that could just be the shitty YouTube resolution.

So it's just a video with fewer frames? *views video* Yes, it's just a lower framerate, but same basic idea as them fancy "moving pictures."

What was that Rolling Stones video, late 80s or early 90s, made up of still images that morphed to form a neat sort of animation. Couldn't find it on yt.
