(It's an Obama ad that I think is funny.)

Now that's entertainment.
If only they duked it out by musical theater.

Oh, that was terrific. This campaign is just terrific to to work on - creative, positive, and with a sense of humor and fun. This was neat.

Plus, it really made me want to see Les Mis again. I have a limited interest in musical theatre, but that show is amazing. I got to see it on Broadway in the 90s and wept my way through the last act. It's stirring.

In a way it reminds me of the one-take Harvey Danger lip synch in that it's funny and inspiring to do something for giggles... Link:

I'm not a believer I have to admit, but I'm totally voting for him. I'm definitely voting against Orc #3 at Helm's Deep and his sidekick Fascist Bimbo of Corrupt Ignorance.

It is not a real Obama ad, as a check of the video's YouTube page shows. Just a very clever simulacrum.

Sully was taken in? Not surprised....

Thanks for the clarification, stilicho. Now that I know it was an improv troupe, I really wish they'd pushed it just a touch more -- like having a giant flag to wave, and a little scrappy kid, and a big march down the hall, so it would kind of come together in a huge climactic scene, like in the actual play. It's am amazing scene (the version in the clip is really sped up; I have to assume for the TV broadcast).

Um, I also found the Lego Les Mis.

This post has sent me into full geekout mode. I'm playing the CD now while cleaning the house.

Obama! Obama!

I totally love this and think the campaign should adopt it as it's theme song.

I was half-hoping that when they formed the phalanx, they would do the march-step thing, because that would have been AWESOME.

And speaking of Les Mis awesomeness, I never get tired of seeing NPH and Jason Segal duke it out, Confrontation-style.
