That part where he grabs the glider's wing looks incredibly dangerous for the glider. (Or are gliders so stable that it would be impossible to tip one over into a death spiral?)

Yeah, that occurred to me too. I was kind of justifying that (to myself) on the grounds that he's probably not heavy enough to exert any force on the glider.

But those wings are pretty long and fragile-looking.
