They're really rockin' on MeCha, Internet USA.... This New Year's Eve, me and pips will be at BB King's Club seeing 2009 in with the architect of Rock & Roll himself, Mr. Chuck Berry. WOO-HOO!!

*duckwalks across room*
I must purchase something glittery to wear.

CHUCK MOTHERFUCKIN' BERRY!

This here song,
it ain't so sad.
The cutest little song
you ever had.
Those of you who will not sing,
you must be playing wit' your own ding-a-ling!

Yeah. If you don't like Chuck Berry, you pretty much don't like rock and roll. Pretty much everybody who came after him bears his influence.

Bonus: Chuck and John Lennon on Dick Cavett.

awesome jonmc.

once, when I was 15 or 16 I said hello and I'm a big fan to Chuck Berry as he walked down the street and saw him live at the Filmore a few times. he's seriously mischievous.

If you used to hang at the Fillmore, you may have crossed paths with a couple of my uncles, Vinnie and Nicky.

Cool, Rock'n'roll would be very different or might not even exist if it weren't for Chuck. Listening to "The Great 28" disk, it's like hearing the template for the last fifty years of rock. I didn't know that he was still playing.
