Most specific (also tragic) tombstone ever? [More:]Here's the text:
LOST LIFE BY STAB IN FALLING ON
INK ERASER, EVADING SIX YOUNG
WOMEN TRYING TO GIVE HIM
BIRTHDAY KISSES IN OFFICE
METROPOLITAN LIFE BUILDING
Apparently, the kid was an office boy working on his 15th birthday (PDF).
Must have been a Monday. (via)
That's hilarious. (I get a kick out of unusual tombstones.)

That was a sad story. Poor kid. His mom must have been heartbroken.

I do love reading tombstones!!

The Wikipedia article on the ink eraser (basically a pocket knife, sometimes folding, used to scrape ink off the page) cites this incident.
