THIS IS A SHOUTING THREAD I HAD A SCREAMING FIGHT WITH MY SISTER LAST NIGHT - DOORS SLAMMING, POINTED FINGERS SHAKING IN EACH OTHERS' FACES, SWEARING, KINDA FIGHT.→[More:]

OVER THE DELIVERY OF THE WORDS "I BELIEVE YOU". SHE MANAGES TO CONVEY THE OPPOSITE EVERY TIME - AND IT PISSES ME OFF - MOSTLY BECAUSE SHE ONLY DOES IT WHEN I STATE MY OPIONION- "I THINK THAT PHARMACIST IS HOT" - HER - "I BELIEVE YOU".

OF COURSE YOU FUCKING BELIEVE ME - WHY WOULD I LIE ABOUT IT?

GAH, SO PATRONISING.

I ENDED UP BEING COMPLETELY UNABLE TO SLEEP, AND CALLED MY OTHER SISTER IN ENGLAND AND SOBBED DOWN THE PHONE TO HER ALL NIGHT.

NOW I'M TIRED, GRUMPY, AND HAVE SUPER PUFFY EYES, AND HAVE TO CALL ORGANISATIONS HASSLING THEM ABOUT BOOKING FORMS.

aww jonathanstrange, Your sis seems to know what button to press in you, a kind of passive aggressive not believing you. Undermining your feeling that you are credible.

Screaming at her isn't going to work. It seems she has ill will towards you and somehow that needs to be discussed. Maybe she's not able to do that, own up to her negative feelings? Maybe she's dumping pain that belongs elsewhere on you? Transferring?

Is she, are you, both capable of a rational discussion of this issue?

Whatever it is, your being wound up, screaming, raging, isn't emotionally healthy for either of you and it's not going to resolve the issue, whatever it is.

Maybe she's too toxic a person for you to be around at this time?

In any case, I'm sorry you went through a painful conflict. That hurts.

You know what's even MORE annoying? If every time she says "I believe you," you looked at her and countered with an enthusiastic "Believe it!!" a la Naruto.

Oh wait, shouting thread: THIS IS PROBABLY THE SINGLE MOST FUCKING ANNOYING "CATCHPHRASE" EVER AND WHILE THERE ARE MANY MANY REASONS THIS ONE ALONE PROBABLY WOULD HAVE BEEN SUFFICIENT FOR ME TO HATE NARUTO FANS FOR ALL ETERNITY.
