Not quite the same but I saw a squirrel carry away a squirrel corpse the other day. I wasn't sure if it was a squirrel funeral or what, but I haven't seen it since.

Always liked the idea of the Hunter's Funeral.

When you were a kid did you have funerals for dead animals? I had a very solemn burial for a dead pigeon.
