Just got back from WA/OR. Here's what I've learned:→[More:]

- Portland is pretty much TEH AWESOME. Assuming we don't actually flee the country in November (and this time I mean it!), I am seriously going to try to convince scodyboy that we need to relocate. Job-seeking and relocating tips welcome!

- Trying to see friends in Seattle and Portland whilst still taking care of family obligations in Tacoma and get up into the mountains, all in a week, leaves no time for Mefi meetups. Must plan better next time.

- Paul Weller was bumped off Letterman on Wednesday, which would normally make me apoplectic. But when he's bumped to make way for Obama, it turns out that I am a little more sanguine.
