That's a gorgeous flower, DarkForest. I could use a little brightening. With the tropical storm here, my supermarket where I work was a zoo. It's just wind and rain, people!! And just what are you going to do with all the food you just bought if we lose power? And why do you have to be nasty?

Now I'm home, we're cozy, and me and the boys are just hangin'. Mr. V is off in Myrtle Beach with some old friends having a blast (yeah, he even made Fox News on Friday, when they were interviewing people playing in the rain). At least I'm off tomorrow. So, DarkForest, commiserate with me and tell me your tale of woe.

Hi redvixen, thanks. I'm just cranky. Too much sugar and caffeine yesterday, the kids being too outrageous today, the house too much of a chaotic mess. Yeah, just the perfect storm of crankiness. I got to take a few flower pictures this morning around the house, those daisies are blooming nicely, so maybe something good came out of it. Day's almost done now anyway. Sweet oblivion to come, and a day in town at the bookstore tomorrow.
