Features You Love There's a number of regular features in magazines and blogs that I keep a special eye out for.[More:] One is Cover Lies over at Jezebel, because making fun of womens' magazines always makes me chuckle. Another is "Eat...More!" in Glamour- those pictures stick with me long after I've given the magazine away, I've learned a lot. I'm also a big fan of "The Ethicist" in the NYTimes Sunady Magazine, although that begins to get into my love of advice columnists, a topic that probably deserves a post all its own one day.

What are you flipping around to find these days?
I love both of those links, TPS. "Cover Lies" is hilarious. I also love the calorie pictures in Glamour. Who knew a soft pretzel had so many calories.

I always like to read the Insider's Guide in Allure for pure entertainment. Read a paragraph and soon you'll be appreciating architecture with the rest of them!

I used to like E. Jean Carrol in Elle magazine. I haven't read Elle in a while. I don't know how helpful she was. She gave silly and smart-ass answers peppered with plenty of cutesy euphemisms.

It appears she still has a column in Elle. (I used to watch E. Jean Carrol on MSNBC. She was one of the first people that had a show. That was a long time ago. It was fun.)

Sadly, the main thing I've learned from "Eat...More!" is how bad all the things I love are for me :-(

The only women's magazines I read regularly are Bitch, Ms. and Lilith (and I'm jonesing for Sassy to be put on DVD archives).

I wait for Pot Psychology at Jezebel (just watching them laugh makes me laugh), and Bill Cunningham's fashion slideshow.
I also look forward to The Wednesday Chef.
