Bjork sings Joni [More:]

This is gorgeous. I've always loved Joni Mitchell's work, particularly the albums from 'Court and Spark' through to the end of the 1980s, including 'The Hissing of Summer Lawns', on which Joni originally performed this song. This track is taken from a wonderful compilation album.

But I've never been that keen on Joni's voice, especially her earlier albums when she is far, far too shrill for my liking. So I always like to hear other artist's interpretation of her work. I wish Bjork would do a whole album of Joni's songs.
that's damn fine.

would some recordingperson please explain to me how bjork gets that magnificent, immediate no-effects effect on her voice?
