This table is pretty awesome but I'm still confused as to how it stays up, since it's not obvious to me where all the legs are in the picture. I see two.
I'm assuming all the drips with a flattened disc at the bottom (representing pooling paint) are legs, so I count three. It is pretty cool.

I count 4 or 5. Look at the shadows of the parts that look like big drips that haven't yet spread out - two are obviously touching the floor, one of which is partially obscured by the rest of the table. Then two or three legs look like drips that have spread out flat on the floor.

Very cool.

I see five legs, because I think the 2 corner legs that don't pool do still touch the ground (check out their shadows).

I think the table structure would be kind of like this:

boooo for spacing. it was supposed to be 2 at each end and one off-center in the middle

Ahaha, I'm blind and can't count. Still, it's cool.

DO WANT!

While it is cool at first look, I imagine it would be something that loses it's novelty pretty quickly since it's fairly gimmicky in design. Nice, but do not want.

THERE! ARE! FOUR! LEGS!

That episode aired on the Sci-Fi channel a few weeks ago. If TNG was a recent show, that episode would be considered "pandering to fanfic".

I thought there was a word for "pandering to fans", but I can't seem to dig it up on google

I see all four legs very clearly, and this is also an awesome table.

It looks pretty cool, but is clearly a prototype - if it goes into production is will not look like that. There's no way to transport it without great risk of legs bending/breaking, the smaller drips would be way to fragile to survive even delivery.

Hmm, bit negative there, sorry. It does look cool, that's for sure.
