OK, I'm going to try Twitter. You can follow me if you want. I'm not interesting yet. Also not sure if I'll keep up with it..but hey, it's worth a shot.

I love twitter. It's like my favorite thing about facebook (the status updates) without all the annoying invites to join in games about mobs or zombies or scrabble.

I did cave. The key for me was learning that you can do it via the web. I just really didn't want to have to use my cellphone for it. I barely carry my cellphone, let alone use it. But via web? Absolutely.

Yay, reading helps!

Twitter is a free service that lets you keep in touch with people using the web, your phone, or IM.

I canceled my Facebook. I'm afraid I'm not good about updating anything. I would suck at Twitter.

I agree, bunnyfire. ColdChef is the one of the only reasons I check Twitter these days. Even if he doesn't have anything amusing to say, which is rare, it's always a boost to realize that he's out there dealing with dead bodies while I'm not.

My impression was that somehow it was a bigger deal or more life-changing than anything else I do on the internet. Turns out it's actually more of the same. No big woop. A mildly novel form of distraction. I retire teh Hate.

jaysus - first Facebook, now Twitter?
*slumps off to find cozy old man cardigan and the part of the newspaper that damn kid missed my house with AGAIN, I mean how hard is it to hit the damn porch every week? I could hit the house across the damn street when I ran my route, and I walked!

Kids today with their stupid cars and weird bikes and stuff hanging out their ears couldn't even hear me I bet - no respect, all wired up and no respect, ah, what's it all coming to with this Twitbook and Facer, no one respects anything anymore....*

I'm there as shh, though I haven't updated in a month. I update very infrequently.

I use it more as a kind of tiny journal -- I like to work within the restraint of 140 characters to convey what I'm feeling. I find it interesting but probably most wouldn't.
