What's with all the spam today? Normally, my listserv gets about 50 pieces of spam per day, today it's been about 300 so far and counting, most of it in Russian. Was there a firesale on bandwidth or something?!

→[More:]I just finished this book about corruption in Nigeria which had a section on email scams, which was very interesting. It's sad that some people must resort to sending spam letters for their rich bosses because there is no other opportunity for employment for them.
