Dramatic works. I also found it maybe a bit violent. There may be something wrong with me, though.

Nothing wrong with you, MonkeyButter. The violence in this one was more realistic and less cartoony than anything Bugs, Babs and Buster, Crusader, Oswald, Roger, Ricochet, Mr. Herriman, Alec Azam or even Thumper was involved in. And the killing of the butterfly was as sadistic as anything any version of The Joker has ever done.

And did the "Rascal Rodents" remind you of the Three Stooges?

I didn't notice the three stooges angle, i was so fixated on the flying squirrel being so evil, apparently, for no reason. And that is what disturbs me the most; there was no context for the sadism or the apparent rivalry between the three and the rabbit.

It was a dark little animation, very well crafted but, I guess I am still hooked on the Buggs/Fud rivalry. Simpler times I guess.
