I love great danes! And he looks like a sweetie.

I love great danes too. They are such beautiful creatures. We brought our dog to the dog beach not too long ago and a Great Dane named Claire was there. She was a beauty.

When I was a baby, my parents had a great dane named Tristana. That dog was smart, loving, good with children, sweet natured, and protective. She really was the best dog. We owned a few other dogs after she died (Newfoundlands and Irish Wolf Hounds-my mother liked huge dogs, but the one drawback is they their lifespan is fairly short), but none of them was like Tristana.

I envy you as Samson's face is so sweet, I'm sure he'll be a good "roommate."

I've never personally known any pure Great Danes, only GD x English Mastiff (the largest of which was 90kg at six months), but those are some big dogs and unfortunately prone to hip dysplasia. But loveable and great fun! He looks like a sweet big giant.
