Recommend me CHEAP reliable webhosting? Best I've done is $36/year so far, but I've heard tell of a magical golden city of $14.95 that's always just over the horizon...
What sort of traffic are we talking about? Crazy-busy, medium, or personal site with less than 100 visitors a year?

less-than 100/year at first ramping up to never busier than medium (if that.) Thanks, muddgirl.

I've used AngryHosting for a while now without any complaints. I pay $30/year, but they do have a basic plan for $1 a month.

dude, $1 a month? Maybe I can afford to have a website again.

$1 a month? AWESOME AND I AM SO THERE.

Oh, wait, I need to actually spend time putting up content? Fuck that.

If you feel comfortable with shell scripts and the like, and you're not bothered about PHP then Google App Engine can be used for free.

WOW. Angry Hosting will even bill you monthly, making it easy to afford $1/month if you can't come up with the full yearly $12, heh. Amazing.

Thanks for the Google tip, seanyboy. Shell scripts sound scary, though prob'ly not if I really knew what they are.
