What did you buy yesterday? [More:]Me, I bought groceries- mostly the ingredients to make Rice Krispies Treats and Fruity Pebbles Treats (I made the latter last night, OMG, so good).
I bought groceries too.

Broccoli, carrots, spinach and blueberries.

Let's see...

I bought a pillow from etsy, I bought lunch (cheese sammich, apple, banana, ginger ale) and I bought some bleach and some cashew nuts.

Nothing at all!

Weirdly, I don't think I bought anything, either. Which is slightly unusual for me, and due partly to having gone to Costco on Sunday and therefore not having any room in the house for anything new. Ever.

Lunch at Ikea and some Kilner jars.

Double scrambled, bacon, cheese on a buttered roll; orange juice and coffee. Pitcher of Czechvar with three mugs; spicy kielbasa and fries (complimentary mustard, sauerkraut, two slices of rye bread). Pint of Ben & Jerry's Karamel Sutra ice cream.

Oh yeah, that reminds me:

JONMC + PIPS: There's DELICIOUS ICE CREAM in your freezer that I EXPECT YOU TO EAT. It has CHOCOLATE and CARAMEL ICE CREAM and FUDGE CHIPS and I'M NOT COMING OVER AGAIN UNTIL IT'S GONE!

A salad. (I bring my frozen lunches to work, and supplement them with a salad from the cafeteria.)

Which I'm about to go do again right now. Lunchtime!

Groceries, mostly non-food though. We don't eat at home much so other than things for me to pack for lunch, it was mostly t-paper and cat litter.

Groceries. Wild, outrageous, exotic groceries: dried pinto beans, broccoli, toilet paper, cat food, cheese, beer, soda water, watermelon, peaches, chicken breasts, soy milk and, okay, I confess: terrible frozen processed stuff (Hot Pockets. Chicken Nuggets. I hang my head.) for the always starving yet too lazy to cook anything but ramen adolescent boy who lives in my house. Plus a few other things. Salad dressing. Onions. Bread. This entailed visiting two separate discount grocery stores and a total bill of around $95 and sheesh, aiyeee! I can't afford to eat.

A chicken and spinach baguette.

There seems to be a lot of overlap between this question and "what did you have for lunch".

Packaging and postage to send home some books.
Four pairs of cotton/silk tights at Fogal.
Taxi rides to Zurich Flughof and from Newark.
I picked up the perfect watch, but I'd already paid for it so it didn't count. I declared it when I went through customs, but the guy just waved me through. This is the second time out of three (all separate airports) that this has happened when I brought in jewelry from outside the US....

Strange for a Monday (or any day for that matter), the only thing I purchased all day was a couple of Cosmos at our local upscale Asian-fusion bar-cum-restaurant. They were delicious. I don't normally go out on Mondays, and if it weren't for those bevvies, I wouldn't have spent anything at all.

(I went shopping with my mother yesterday, heh.)

TJ Maxx: one outfit for my friend's baby (I'm trying to be the good auntie, even though I hate children), 2 flowerpots (to match the one she previously bought), and a baby book (because I am determined to get her child to love books goddamnit).

Grocery store: a set of bottles and sippy cups (on request from said friend), coffee cakes for my breakfasts, mini muffins for my lunches, and some freezy thing that will hopefully destroy this wart on my finger.

A 16oz dark roast cup of coffee to go.

2 small cans of cat food (to try to entice a possibly ill feline of ours to eat something).

The local newspaper.

Oooh! me me me!
After not buying anything except for groceries (ok and one silver headband but I NEEDED it) for all of July, I went out and bought some stuff yesterday.

Town Shop (the great bra store on the UWS) is having a big 1/2 off sale and it's only 2 blocks from my work, so I got a really cute white lacy undies set and some pantyhose for someday future use.
I almost bought a bathing suit but it still wasn't quite right even though it was a good deal. 1-pieces seem to be harder for me to find than bikinis, which is not what I was expecting.

I also got a slice of pizza, garlic knots, and a rootbeer for lunch.

A couple of tickets to Dover Castle and the White Cliffs, some corn and blueberries from a farm shop and a (bearable) hotel bill. Culture, history and nature, AND food and sex.

Yah, amro, we've had for about three years. Now (in the last year) I have a local. I remember being in Princeton around 1992-ish and thinking, what a crazy name, but hey, they have actual produce and stuff, in limited quantites. And they have mostly the cheapest, and surely the most reliable gas. For cheap gas.
