Star Wars Wedding Words fail me.
I have to admit, the girl in the Slave Leia costume looks hot.

I think the words you're looking for are, "I wish I had thought of it first."

It's amazingly well-excecuted, and getting a lot of exposure in the indie wedding community. Plus, who can resist a couple who looks so happy? Certainly not me.

And OMG Ewok Cupcakes!

I hope my fiance doesn't see this.

I went to a friend's wedding, and while they didn't do the costumes, all the music, including the march was from Star Wars, and there were huge ice sculptures, one in the shape of Darth Vader and one in the shape of Leia.

...

I was always a little suspicious of them after that, hehe.

Good heavens. Not my taste and I would have a touch of the fremdschämen were I a guest. But hey, most brides are essentially in costume already so.

(fremdschämen means "being embarrassed on behalf of or for another person"--sure, it's pretentious to use it, but I like it; you can all have the fremdschämen on my behalf now)

I'm cool with this as long as they don't reproduce.

Yeah, I guess I don't see the difference between "Wedding as a carefully planned and costumed theater based on traditional but archaic conventions" and "wedding as a carefully planned and costumed theater based on Geeky Hobby Of My Choice."

Ewok cupcakes = WIN!

They look so happy!! I guess I'd be the mook in the storm trooper costume crying in his mask.

1200 pictures? Oh hell no. Nobody is that good looking. A "Best Of" set doesn't seem like too much to ask.

Some days it pains me beyond belief that I can't favorite comments here.

Today would be one of those days...

That looks like fun. I've been to lots of weddings over the years and the only ones that I really remember are the cheap and cheerful, not quite normal ones. The ones that cost a lot and had the big church and the big hall just blur into one.

I've got a bad feeling about this.

And yeah, I'm sorta impressed/bothered that they took 1.2k pictures. Jebus.

While it's not, say, flying to Vegas to get married by Elvis, our reception (we had totally eloped) was a good time.
