Shrinka Dinka Do : i have a stockpile of #6 plastic i gotta use up and i'd like your help,[More:]because it's gotta go.
It shrinks unpredictably in the oven, so that's a concern, but graphic things work ok, but i don't have a theme or idea to run with right now. It won't be cool enough until evening so spit out ideas or images you might like as a charm or token.
And yes, ones i've said i'll mail, i will get to, really.
Unrelated but currently annoying, muxtape won't let me make another.
Yet.

Dontcha just need another email addy?

Yeah, but now you have to access it by a link at that email and the links won't work. i've already tried two different emails, two different names and several lost password code generations. They're on to me?

Look out your window. See those guys on the hill, just past the big sumac tree? One of them is carrying binoculars disguised as a lunchbox.

Oh, they're on to you, you betcha.

Unless they have eyes at crotch level, i think not.

What no octopi charms for you?
Maybe a quill?

Okay, seriously, could you ship something up to Canada? I'm sure I could come up with something to ship you in return.

If you could, I would totally email you an image to see if you could do. TOTALLY. yeah, that's right, I mean, completely.

Just send me your snail mail via email.
It's still too hot to turn on the oven.

It's easy to do with kids.
Find #6 plastic (unrecyclable for all i know) and use permanent markers.
Heat oven at 350º F.
Put markered cut out plastic on tin foil on the lowest rack. If you lack a window, you can crack open the oven a bit. The shrinkage is quick and the whole process is over in two to three minutes.
You have seconds to adjust and flatten once out of the oven, but pretty much, what you got is what you got. They cool very quickly.
Voilá! Shrinky dinkness.

They will shrink at least to a third of the original size.
Do it yourself with the kids.

Also, #6 plastic is most commonly used for take out containers or in the prepackaged produce or prepared section of the grocery store, but if often now switched over for #1 or #2.

I think that's what I'm running into...everyone switching to #1 or #2. Darn it.
