Brandy, you're a fine girl. i'm flittering through you and your fans muxtapes, having a cocktail→[More:] at a loss for a new theme for one of mine. i ditched out on a dinner to be here to half assedly do things that need doing.
The Bees is learning how be a painter's cat. She could use a tutor but it's going better than expected.

Spent the day at the county fair with the family. The kids are getting old enough (2 and 5) that they really enjoy doing some of the rides and seeing the animals.

Cooked up some sausage and potatoes for dinner. Looks like tonight is a mowing night at the DarkForest mansion. It takes about a half-gallon of gas to mow. An old photo from last year:

So far, i'm a bit into the latest Project Runway.
I love when they let the models choose things, but so early in the season? It's like their picking oer the carcass of the other shows.

Spirited Away always works. It sucks you in with the novelty of it all.
Persepolis is waiting for me. i sent back King of Kong without getting to see the extras because i just had it too long.

i blended some garlic, parsley, lime, rice vinegar, tarragon, ginger, soy, sesame and olive oil over rice noodles. Cross your fingers.

I replaced a counter top, dropped in a new sink, hooked up a new faucet, and laid a new back splash with black subway tile. Not much music, just CBC radio. Tomorrow I grout the tile and then we go to the X-Files movie.

That's not a dark forest, that's a vespertine meadow.

Very accomplished, hatty. i always like seeing the fruits of physical labor.

i'm fiddling with this muxmix and out of booze, so i may lay aside the plan to use up as much old make up as possible and taking pictures while belting whatever i fancy.
Unless i go get a nip of the crazy 100 proof vodka i was wall banged with last week. Seems unnecessary.

Went to a home show today, which was pretty crappy. Tomorrow, with luck, I'll close in the last of the external walls in on the house. That means I get to start being an electrician next weekend, dragging about 100 kilometres of cable around the place.

Zack_Replica: Thanks. I probably don't appreciate the scenery here enough. The scale in that photo is a bit deceptive as it was shot wide angle to get more of the countryside in. Still, it's pretty nice.
