I FOUND 'EM! Two songs I've been searching for for years. One's a sweet ballad, the other a nice piece of bar band fun. So I just had to share. Woo-Hoo!

I forgot how much that Jules Shear song sounded like Petty under the tutelage of Dave Stewart and Jeff Lynn.

Jules Shear did one of my 5* all time favorite songs: "Whispering Your Name". The song was produced by Todd Rundgren and came out in the 80's and made me a Jules fan for life. I saw Jules do an acoustic set and he told a story about trying to sell "Whispering Your Name" to Roy Orbison since he wrote specifically for Roy - which I can totally hear.

*My list of 5 all-time favorite songs actually includes about 25 songs.
