Chocolate Cake Optimizing [More:]Mrs. Plinth and I tried this cake recipe (there was something similar on mefi) and it was OK. We're in the process of optimizing it. We added a pinch of salt, a tsp of vanilla and some chocolate chips and butter as the oil. This made it much better, but the chocolate chips need to go into the middle. We tried greasing the cup and dusting it with a mix of cocoa and sugar, but that didn't do much. I might also try subbing cream for the milk and subbing some strong coffee for some of the cream/milk.
Why did you have to post this????!!! Now I want chocolate anything so bad. It's a neat idea .. instant chocolate cake, single serving size. I want it now ..

I have a GREAT recipe for "Milo souffle" from my friend Sean:

1. Take a mug
2. take a teaspoon
3. get a large tin of "Milo".
4. Carefully measure a hell of a lot of milo into mug
5. add a little bit of milk until it is a thick thick paste
6. microwave until it rises

Believe it or not it actually makes a cake like texture. It's delicious, hot and slightly gooey.

Really rich though.
