You may now call me Dr. Grouse. Or not. Plain grouse is okay too. Graduation was fun. Lots of spectacle and Latin and colorful hoods. The Vice-Chancellor personally conferred the degrees in my congregation, which I'm told is slightly rare.

Congratulations!

Did you have to do the thing where you go up in fours and each hold one finger of the Praelector's hand?

Getting the VC herself is cool; I got my college's Master, who fumbled her way through the Latin with the aid of a crib sheet. The best thing, of course, is to get an honorary MA, which are conferred by Prince Philip.
