Both my boss and my summer intern have left for the day. I'm seriously thinking of doing the same. But then I would be at home, paying for my own a/c. It's a dilemma.

I think you should turn up the a/c, and just post here a lot.

Yeah, I'm leaving. I got about another 20 minutes of work done in that time, and I'm ready to start the weekend. We have a 6-pack of Sam Adams in the fridge at home. If only I could drink it.

yeah, I can have one beer. But I'm saving that for dinner :) and unless there are cold viruses in the a/c, I think I'll be fine. (I'm home now, after hanging out in a cafe all afternoon, but no a/c on because it's fucking expensive. It's still 90F right now. Argh.)
