I've always wondered how it is that the finalists of Miss Universe are always from Earth. Are the women on all other planets ugly? Or is the "Universe" part of the title like that "World Series" thing?

Also, In the Miss-USA-falls-down-goes-boom clip, I was watching without sound. Was there a rational explanation for the woman with the GIANT COOLIE HAT?

I don't understand how someone with no weight or substance above her neck can fall down so easily.

Perhaps they can provide the contestants with fishing weights for next year's thrilling competition?

Darn, I meant to watch this. I'm very good at picking the top 10. (My favorite, sadly, doesn't usually win, though.)

(I know they're bizzarre, pageants, but I likes 'em anyway. My mom and I used to watch together, after which, I generally went on a diet.)
