Woman struck by lightning while filming thunderstorm. [More:]

Both the camera and the woman are okay.
HOLY CRAP.

She says she was holding onto the metal railing, and the charge left her via the railing. OMG.

(lightning freaks me right out)

We don't get much lightning up here, but when I was on the NJ shore this thunderstorm rolled in and put on a great lightning show over the water. It was awesome.

I can see that happening to me as I love thunderstorms and raging lightning. Man, am I glad she's okay!

Holy stinking crap! Glad she's okay.

Two nights ago I saw lightning hit a tree in my front yard-it made the prettiest multicolored sparks.

That is crazy viral. The scream is terrifying, because it's so realtively small. I would have been screaming my head off, you know?.

Woman struck by lightning while filming thunderstorm.

If only she'd been filming a lightning storm, she'd only have been deafened by thunder.

If she were sticking her pinky out while holding the camera, that might explain why the lightning grounded through her. That and the railing somehow having good grounding properties.
