We went to the beach in Homer. I wish the tide had been out, that the wind had been in a different direction. Oddly, I wish my ex had been there. Once the wind and waves took her ashes away and I cried and cried for losing her, I drove to the cemetery and placed flowers on my sister's grave. I don't know if I believe in this sort of thing, but it's nice to think about the two of them playing and looking after each other in heaven.
