Sorry to hear that. I know how much it meant to you. What are your options now? Can you apply again? Try a different city? Is there only Rotterdam and Copenhagen?
Sorry to hear that, divabat...I know how long you've been trying to get in.
And I can sympathize: I know that when I was applying to universities at the end of high school - and was rejected from every single one of them, even when I knew I was good enough - it was hard to view any sort of "application process" with much respect afterwards. I did end up making it in somewhere, and it turned out to be the best thing that ever happened to me, but I think a big part of that was that my expectations of my own success began low (after being rejected from everywhere, who'd feel confident?) and began to rise as I saw that it was me, not the name of the university, doing the work and making it happen. That it was me who made the name of the university even mean anything.
I know there might not be a lot of hope in your mind right now, but if I can offer one small ray of solace, know that you are still you, and that while you may not meet some other person or group's description of what they want, no application process can ever hope to capture even a tiny fraction of the person going through it.
My grandma used to say that when God closes a door, he opens a window, and while I'm not much of a religious person, I know that you've been working so hard on your projects and goals that God's pretty much opened all the windows in the house, set up a few fans, and unscrewed the screens.
It's out there, and it will happen, because you'll make it happen. Good luck!
chillmost: Rotterdam and Aarhus are the two English schools...there are others, but they work with different languages.
mdonley: thanks for your kind words. Right now it feels that whatever open windows exist are all stuck in a high ceiling right next to the fanblades. (For instance, since I had been accepted into The Scholar Ship, I was hoping for that to be a Plan B - but the program's since shut down.)
