I would love Turkey to win. Especially as I work with a load of Gooners (Arsenal fans) and their keeper was resposible for the Turkish goal.

Rooting for Turkey, but more because I simply cannot root for the Germans. As long as Spain will win in the end I don't have a horse in this race :)

Apparently the outage was caused by lightning. I have never seen Germans freak out like that before.

A guy stood up and yelled, "If it's not back on in 5 minutes, we're taking all the beer." The proprietor got real nervous there for a minute. People were getting super angry and some guy got up from the crowd and broke the tension by doing magic tricks. He probably saved a few windows from getting broken.

It's almost 1:30 in the morning and people are still driving around honking their horns, yelling and playing loud music. The police in Lüneburg pretty much have it under control though, I think. I wonder how the party is going in Berlin or Hamburg.

I expect half of my colleagues to call in sick tomorrow.
