Thanks for this, interrobang; we're planning a viewing party of the trilogy (you know, the only three Star Wars movies) soon, and maybe I'll set up a crawl for that.

Y'know... now I really want to watch the original Star Wars. But we only have it on VHS. So boo that.

But presumably the VHS is old enough to predate the worst of Lucas' tampering, yes? I'm not having any of this "Greedo shot first" bizness. Nosirree.

I don't need Han all scrubbed and saintly. I prefer him grubby and cutthroat. Like Sam Spade in space.
