Some random things I like Just 'cause it's 4 O'Clock, and my brain has switched off. →[More:]

- the clouds of beancurd and the pretty patterns they make in my miso soup.
- the spring onion pancakes at the dumpling place in Tattersalls lane in Melbourne
- the smell of old books
- squelching barefoot through mud
- singing badly along to old musicals
- spending the entire day reading a really great book
- finishing an embroidery
- sitting in a cafe with a pot of loose leaf tea and reading the newspaper
- going to see a movie by myself during the day

- not hot weather with breezes, all green and blue
- freshly washed kitty cuddles
- cold ginger ale
- pillows of the right squush
- glitter

- hiking near running water, especially if there's a waterfall involved
- friendly bulldogs who want one more scratch, please
- going out on the deck to pick fresh herbs
- having the wine I selected for a meal actually match what we're eating
- going home from work (which I am about to do - yay!)

Laying in cool dark green shade on a hot sunny day.
Nearby lightning and it's attendant thunder.
Waking up under a burden of happily snoozing animals.
Sitting in a room with someone I love while we read.
Talking with animals.
Speaking to a group.
Being slightly stuffed and buzzed after a great dinner with friends.
Being in the VIP section.
Cooking for other people.
Making anything from scratch.
Foot massage!
Shave and a hair cut.

floating on the ocean
hotel beds
