RIP Edith Macefield We drove past her place just this weekend. Ballard has become unrecognizable, what with all the new condo construction, so it was heartening to see her little house flipping the bird to developers everywhere.

What a cute little house. Shame that it leans, it would make an adorable little café with outdoor seating and extra birdseeds for all guests.

(and by café, I mean NOT STARBUCKS!)

I'm going to go on ahead and repeat the notion that the house should be torn down and replaced with a giant hand giving the finger. Fuck the condos.
