Are there any NY area bunnies who like Yaz? I have a ticket I can't use.
Not too many Red Sox fans here. ;>

Yaz? Upstairs at Eric's? They are still performing? Huh.

I love Yaz but am not in NYC. :(

(I didn't know they were performing again, either...)

Reunion info included.

The first several Google hits were for the birth control pill, not the band.

It would be worth it just to hear Alison Moyet. Someone snap that up.

When is it?

July 19 at the Beacon---I'll still be in Switzerland.

I plan to be in Maryland that weekend. Thanks though!

I can't that weekend.

Hey brujita - how did you enjoy MoB? I'm not sure how I feel about the shows that play an album (except for a great GVSB concert last year) but I thought it was pretty good.

I liked it... how did the podelette? ;-) Somehow I managed to snag a spot at a table overlooking the stage. If I'd gotten there when the doors first opened there would have been space for everyone.

If I remember correctly, The Cure played the entire Disintegration album on their '89 tour---amazing show!

The spawn seemed pretty happy with it. She was practising for the mosh pit. She has now been to two Mission of Burma, a Les Savy Fav, a Wire, and...something else. So she's getting some good entertainment in there.

When I saw Brian Wilson in Florida, he played the whole Pet Sounds album, complete with orchestral backing. It was incredible.

I saw Cheap Trick play Heaven Tonight, with Pearl Jam opening for them. That was fun.
