Anyway, maybe we could make this into a Top Chef discussion thread. What did folks think of the finale?

I'm so glad she won.

I wish that some judge at some point had mocked Lisa's sourpuss stance -- you know, when anyone said anything vaguely critical, she'd cross her arms and drop her eyelids. Ugh. Did not like her.

Poor Richard -- I liked him a lot, and he seemed like a nice guy, but I lost a little respect for him when he started the crybaby routine. I mean, I know it was a disappointment, but still.

Why? He was sad. I'd be sad, too.

But this is not the time to talk of Richard!

This is the time to talk of Stephanie! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT!

I'm really glad she won, too. I never made it to Scylla, her restaurant, before it closed but I'd heard really good things about it. Looking forward to her new place, whenever that comes about.

I thought Lisa redeemed herself a little in the finale - her food looked appetizing, at least. I'm so, so, so glad that Stephanie won, though!

Scylla was great. A friend of ours was her dessert chef-- Stephanie even mentioned her on the show once. I know Stephanie kept her in the loop, so I'm dying to get the run-down next time I see her.

I watched with my boyfriend. We both think Stephanie is super cute as well as talented and we're so glad she won!
