This is non-fiction, but this is a very engrossing book about one sailor's first rounding of the 'horn, along with a very well written group of historical accounts.

And cold. Talks about cold. Ice on the masts, sails frozen hard, frostbite, huge seas, masts snapping, a group of native peoples who lived in such a hostile climate that no clothes will work, really, so they went naked and adapted.

You'll feel really cold reading this book.

What's nice to see about Sky is that she's smiling in photographs now. You can see the happiness in her face. Just compare the ball pic to the one from before you got her. YAY for happy dogs!

Thanks, eek... I'm loving that, too. So much. And I adore her new happy-trot when we go for walks, now, and a lot of other little things.
