What does "SOW" mean on Ebay? →[More:]My sister is selling a laptop on Ebay. A person has contacted her and has asked:

"I need parts for this to make repairs to a customer's laptop, would you consider letting buy this now for XX dollars or sow?"

My sister isn't going to sell him it since she is in a contract to auction it, but what is "sow"?

I googled, but didn't find any definitions that seemed to fit. Maybe it's a typo and he meant to say "XX dollars or so"?

Good point, occhi. Very smart of you, as usual. I wouldn't have thought of that. We are convinced it's a typo. We were racking our brains before kiripin suggested it. We automatically that it was an acronym. These modern times. :-)

I did read your suggestion, LT. I thought it was clever. Sorry I didn't acknowledge the cleverness! Terrapin seems to think it is Some Other Way. I'll tell her. We were guessing all sorts of things. Such as, Sacrificed Ominous Witches. :-)
