Does anyone else see double while reading the photo caption on this article? [More:]In case it disappears, the caption reads:
Stars of the MTV series "The Hills," Heidi Montag, left, and boyfriend Spencer Pratt are stars of the MTV series "The Hills."

*staring at the caption in disbelief, not knowing whether it's the caption or his hangover, treepour stares in disbelief at the caption and wonders whether it's the caption or his hangover*
Uh, the article's from March. If it hasn't been corrected by now, it's not gonna be. I've seen worse mistakes.

Redundant caption is redundant.

Not a big deal, but I once had a spelling error in an article I wrote for msnbc.com corrected several weeks after it went up. (It was the name of a co-producer of a popular TV show, and nobody noticed it until the person emailed me personally. I contacted the TV editor and it was fixed.) Don't know about other major news sites, but msnbc.com understands that quality of the Web. But that particular article was part of "Access Hollywood's" deal to provide content, so it might not have even been seen by the main site's editors and may be an extra hassle to fix. Just report it to the Department of Redundancy Department.
