I need a shower. →[More:] You know that state of being when you know you need a shower, but can't quite bring yourself to take one? What's that called?
Laziness? Apathy? Total disregard for well-being and basic hygiene? :-) :-)
I have the same problem. I worked out with the trainer this morning. I sweat like no tomorrow at these workouts. I actually cry out and grimace in pain and then she says, "let's do three more!" I'm sitting here three hours post-workout, still no shower.
I used to never go a day without showering. I used to never walk out of the house with wrinkles or a stain on my shirt. I would never think of going out with a greasy head. Now I do. I think, ah, nobody will see that spot.
I bought some expensive Thymes Olive Leaf (I'm such a sucker for bath products. There is this hoity-toity bath shop in the plaza across from my job. I should never step a foot in there) shower gel. It smells very herbal and fresh. It's a motivator to get into the shower.
On that thought, I think I will jump in now. And then clean my kitchen and figure out what I'll make for dinner. If you see me on this computer before 6 pm. Shoot me.
i just got out of a long needed bath and i could have stayed in there forever. For some reason, being enveloped in hot scented water was exceptionally satisfying, far beyond the usual. Something weird is up with me.
Or down.
Or funky.
At least you have a shower! We've been without a working bathtub/shower for almost two weeks now. The contractors have gutted the bathroom and are rebuilding the walls and floors and re-plumbing and wiring and won't have the new tub in for another week or so. Fortunately, there's a gym in my office so I can shower there.
Update: still haven't showered. At this point, I'm still gonna get funquier before bed time, so I might as well wait till then. octothorpe, that sux. dismas, that's very funny.
