I was going to do a radio show but I've got 3 hours of Dr Who to watch, so instead I've got a MuxTape update.[More:] I've got 6 5 4-1/2 beer and 3 episodes of Dr Who to watch, and the Dr wins out. Instead, some music I've got on heavy rotation....

Mechanical Birds from Nashville? I can't tell, but that's where the singer's from. Reminds me a lot of The Cardigans and in a good way.

Stirling. Originally from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, they moved to Toronto to record this album. Can't find any sign of them since they released their debut. Hope they haven't quit. To quote the Edmonton Journal, "If the guys from Stirling lived in Britain, they’d be on the cover of every music magazine and hailed as the new saviours of rock.”

Barry Adamson. One of the Bad Seeds. Yep, that's Nick Cave singing on "The Sweetest Embrace." The man's got style and talent to burn. 60's/funk/jazz/noir.
Awesome! I love Barry Adamson, and the others sound intriguing. Thanks Zack!

Yay - Mechanical Birds sound great! I have bought a copy of their CD in the hope that it's as good as the stuff I've heard on their site.
