Wow. I thought those were going to be kind of silly and mildly funny, and I laughed so hard I'm still mopping up.

I wonder what a dramatic re-enactment of some of our discussions would look like :-P

That was the funniest thing I've seen in a long, long time. Thanks for posting, TPS.

She rips on weddings in her standup, too - it starts about 3.5 minutes in.

I watched these earlier. They are hilarious. I am ashamed to admit that my wedding dress is still in the box it was shipped home in. I never had it cleaned. For shame.

That line could probably be used in her routine.

Our wedding was so casual that I borrowed my wedding dress; yeah, it was my something borrowed. Thinking about it now, I'm just very impressed that I fit into a dress of my sister's (a nice linen affair). Bet I can't do that no more.

Well, we didn't plan a wedding. We were going to do justice of the peace, at the courthouse (we had already been living together for seven years or eight years at this point) and were on a visit to the U.S. from Greece. We decided to marry in the U.S. because like everything else, getting married in Greece was a huge bureaucratic morass. But my sis insisted on putting together a wedding proper, and it was lovely. But no wedding dress afterwards to worry about, which I appreciate, because what would I do with it? I couldn't ever throw it out, so I would be stuck with it forever.
