What food have you eaten today? →[More:]
For breakfast I had muesli with berry compote and Greek yoghurt.
For lunch I had fat-free cottage cheese and a banana.
My dinner is cooking as we speak. Pork fillet, sliced and marinated in soy sauce, a splash of balsamic vinegar, a little sunflower oil, a teaspoon of Chinese Five Spice powder, a teaspoon of honey, two teaspoons of
garlic & ginger (which I buy in the Indian shops in east London, it's fab stuff) and salt and pepper. I left it for at least an hour for the flavours to meld.
Then I stir-fried a crushed clove of garlic in a little sunflower oil in a hot wok, added the pork, cooked it for a while and then added broccoli, sugar snap peas, a sliced courgette and a green pepper. I put the lid on to let it cook properly. I'm just about to stir in some spinach. Brown meat and green veggies. It smells wonderful.
