I just got a job offer!!!!! *does the happy dance*→[More:] I got laid off about two weeks ago from the crappy company I'd worked at for more than a decade. A good friend of mine suggested I inquire about working for his employer, and through some apparently very positive things he said about me and a bit of luck, they made me an offer today that, while not breathtakingly large, is very fair and is a little better than I expected. I start Monday. WOO HOO!!!
