I miss Venus →[More:]

*sigh* I've been using Adobe's design suite since the early 90's. Upgraded to CS3 a few months ago, and I really do like the new features but I have one minor gripe:

I miss Venus. Illustrator's startup menu and box design since ancient history for 8 (or was it 9... I forget now) releases had variants of a theme on Boticelli's Venus on them. She's gone now, replaced with some kind of scientific periodic table design cue thingy. The change to flowers for CS: meh, okay, sure. But scientific design cues on an artistic application: Bleh.

...oh, yeah and GET OFF MY LAWN, you damn kids!
