Make Spelling America's Official Subject. This is just seriously stupid.
In the past, I'd say that having an official language violates the first amendment but with this Supreme Court, who knows.

Can you say "año de la elección"?

It appears she mispelled "official" in the sign, so clearly it's an issue close to her heart.

What an offal person she must be.

Get a brain. Moran.

Can you say "año de la elección"?

I read once that an electronic sign in the Phoenix airport once warned hispanohablantes that to buy booze in AZ, se necesita tener 21 anos.

I had to look that one up, ROU, but I'm glad I did.

An Italian friend once told me that he was intrigued by the American custom of giving each other lambs as engagement gifts. Turns out one of his American acquaintances had had some difficulty distinguishing agnello and anello.

But I like the thought of partners exchanging lambs. Probably more practical than a diamond, with the wool and all.

Which, actually, brings us full circle back to offal...

What I love is that she actually underlined the word. Jackass.

When my senior Government class did a mock senate, the bill I, as a Republican senator from Florida, proposed was very similar: to make English the official and only language taught in public schools. Everyone kind of shrugged, maybe one question, there was no debate. And it passed by a landslide. I was shocked that not even one person had a complaint. Apparently so was our teacher, because she proceeded to give a 10-minute WTF PEOPLE! lecture.

But at least my bill had no spelling errors.
